Key Responsibilities

  • Data Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that transform raw data into clean, structured datasets optimized for analysis, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and performance for business intelligence and advanced analytics.

  • Solution Delivery & Support: Assist in the execution of analytics projects for pharmaceutical clients, including data analysis, model validation, and insight generation.

  • Product Development & Innovation: Contribute to the development and refinement of SENTIER’s analytics products, ensuring they meet client needs and industry demands.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and presentations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.

  • Governance & Quality: Implement data governance and quality frameworks to ensure data integrity, compliance, and consistency.

  • Client Engagement: Work alongside senior team members to gather client requirements, support project delivery, and ensure successful implementation of SENTIER’s solutions.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and commercial teams to improve SENTIER’s product offerings and methodologies.

    Ideal Candidate

  • 1-2 years of experience in analytics, data science, or life sciences consulting.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a working knowledge of data analysis (SQL, python), business intelligence (Power BI or similar), visualization techniques (Excel, PowerPoint), and business strategy.

  • Familiarity with data ETL process and data transfer concepts/capabilities as well as database design.

  • Experience with data quality concepts and practices as well as data operations.

  • Working knowledge of current tools and environments such as dbt, Posit, Airflow, Snowflake, RedShift, Azure, etc.

  • Exposure to pharmaceutical commercial operations, medical affairs, or healthcare data is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills include the ability to triage and interpret alerts, error messages, and quality control checks.

  • Self-starter with a bias toward action, capable of balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passion for AI, data science, and life sciences with a desire to grow into a more senior role at SENTIER.

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science.
